Leonora Aguilar Masongsong

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonora Aguilar Masongsong, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of faith, who went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2026 at 78 years old.

Predeceased by her parents Felicisimo Aguilar and Eusebia Mercado Aguilar, her husband Deacon Alejandro Masongsong and her many brothers and sisters.

Born on August 16, 1947. Leonora Masongsong was a pillar of her community and church. Her unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and dedication to helping others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Leonora Masongsong was a loving and dedicated person. She was the cherished wife of our late father Alejandro Masongsong, a proud mother to Anthony and Anna Masongsong. She also leaves behind the Masongsong Nation. Her love for her family was evident in every moment she spent with them.

A visitation will take place on May 29 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kane - Jerrett Funeral home at 6191 Yonge Street. A celebration of her life will be held on May 30 at 9:30 am at St. Paschal Baylon church at 92 Steeles Avenue West. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at 11:00 am.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Leonora Masongsong has been welcomed into the arms of our Saviour, where she will forever rejoice in glory.
