

Died after a courageous battle at the Toronto General Hospital CCU on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Les was the husband of Judy Colleen (Fobin) of Hatchet Lake, N.S. They married on September 2, 1989 at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, Hatchet Lake, N.S. Les was born on May 30, 1958 in Fredericton, NB to Gareth Vernon and Shirley Lorraine Langley (Bremner). Les is survived by a brother Kenneth Richard Langley (Elizabeth Anne Huszti), nephew Mathew Langley, Sarah Megan Kraley (Gary) and great uncle to Dominic Gordon Kraley of Calgary, AB. Les is survived by sisters in law Carolyn Jane (Bruce Hall), nieces Suzanne Marie Spry (Collin), Karen Jean Emmerson (Matthew) and was great uncle to Miss Hadley Jane Emmerson all of Brantford and Paris, ON. Also, his nephew Daniel Bruce Thomas Fobin Hall of Hatchet Lake, NS. Residing in Kanata, ON is sister in law Diana Lynn (Thomas McGee). Les was part of an Army Militia Family, lived in Fredericton, NB, Iserlone, Germany, Pembroke, ON, Comox, BC. Les attended college in Toronto and continued his career as a Senior Technologist in Bio Medical Engineering at the TGH/UHN from 16th Oct, 1978 to 2008. 30 years of dedicated service. Les enjoyed his computers, the children, nature, especially BC Mountains. He enjoyed time at the Windsor House in NS. He liked canoeing, camping and bicycling. He was a caring kind and gentle man who will always be remembered for his charm and sense of humour. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 2 pm at Glenview Presbyterian Church, 1 Glenview Ave., Toronto, (Yonge/Lawrence).
