Maria is lovingly remembered by her children: Antonio (Dora), Anna (Joe), Pasquale (Yvonne), John (Cathy), and Bruno (Stella). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Anthony (Andrea), Nicholas (Victoria), Domenic (Laura), Lorenzo (Christina), Matthew, Kara (Graeme), Matteo, Gian Carlo, and Joseph. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Alessia, Aila, Thomas, Braedon, and Evie.
Maria had a passion for gardening, especially tending to her Rose of Sharon bushes. She found joy in family gatherings and was a devoted grandmother, always eager to share her love for cooking with those around her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Villa Leonardo Gambin for their support and care.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 6191 Yonge Street in North York, on January 27, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Roch's Church, 2889 Islington Ave in Toronto, on January 28, 2026, at 10:00 am. Maria will be laid to rest at Westminster Cemetery following Mass.
Donations may be made in Maria's memory to Sick Kids Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
