Marjorie Doreen Fraser

“A long and meaningful life”

On Thursday, August 19, 2021 Doreen, age 95, died peacefully at home with her family. Born in Barbados and raised in Toronto, she and her beloved late husband Sydney raised three children: Donald Fraser (Colleen), Janet Fraser, and Patricia Bradley (Neil). She is survived by her sister Daphne Webster.

At this time, her family wants to recognize a special friend and PSW, Marina Waddingham, who gave selfless care and support to Doreen over the past 18 years. Always putting Doreen and Janet's needs before her own, her contribution to keeping Doreen in her own home all these years was enormous.

A family funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9 at 2:30 pm, at Church of St Timothy, North Toronto, 100 Old Orchard Grove Rd, Toronto. Friends are encouraged to participate via the ZOOM broadcast of the service. Please call the Church to register for the Zoom link or to attend in peson @ 416-488-0079.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen’s memory to St Timothy’s Church, North Toronto or to effect:hope (The Leprosy Mission of Canada), Doreen's personal favourite charity, are greatly appreciated by the family.
