I worked with Phyllis at PWD. Phyllis, was a lovely woman and so welcoming to me when i start with PWD ( now CDS) 5 years ago. Always was asking how I was and did lot traveling to see family and when I return she ask how my trip was and how the family was doing. I will missed you Phyllis and think of you often.  😇🙏💐💔

My dear Phyllis, you were my wife, soul mate, and friend for almost 40 years. You were always near me to support me in sickness and in health. We have had some good and bad times but always stuck together and persevered the episode. I still remember our time on our honeymoon in Quebec City, walking the cobblestone streets and enjoying the beginning of our life together. The family and I miss you terribly. The apartment is empty without you. I know now that you are in a better place, chatting with the angles. Rest in peace, my darling wife, from your loving husband until we meet again.

I am Phyllis's step son in law. I was introduced to her 25 years ago . From the day I met Phyllis her loving , caring demeanour shone through. She always had a special calming effect on our grandchildren and loved to play with them at our family gatherings . Phyllis will be missed dearly . Rest In Peace , god bless you

Having lived out in BC for the vast majority of life, it’s a difficult thing to build bonds with my Ontario and beyond family.  Auntie Phyll was that constant that was always there whether it be a phone call, a birthday card, or an actual visit to see us.  Her smile and happiness was always so infectious and will be greatly missed.  We know that she is absolutely enjoying her reuniting with Gramma, Grandpa, and sisters too.  We will meet again one day too. We love and miss you Auntie Phyll.  


Dear Joe and family,  
We are so sorry for your loss, life is so  precious and fragile , and many times not fair. We know it is overwhelming to loose your best friend and soul mate, Joe. Phyllis was a real Lady, a positive thinker, always polite and smartly dressed , with the most beautiful coifed hair of anyone I ever knew. We knew each other for many years in the  hotel and travel industry. She was good at her job and had a very calming effect on anyone she spoke to with her soft soothing voice and special laughter. She will be missed by her family and especially her "Joe " she used to say. Take care of each other as you journey through this difficult time. May her life be a Blessing to all who knew her.

My sister Phyllis was such a positive influence in my life. I could no wrong in her eyes and I will miss and love her beyond words. 
I think back to 1979 when she willingly asked if she could ride beside me in a big old moving truck as I drove from Ontario to British Columbia, just to keep me company on the journey. It wasn't until we pulled up in front of our new home in Abbotsford that she admitted being in severe back pain for the entire 5 days on the road. She burst into tears...but it wasn't because of the physical pain but rather the realization that we would be separated by so many miles.
I will miss her dearly, but she is in the loving arms of God, forever in a place that is so much better than the trials and tribulations that one experiences here on earth.
Heaven is a richer place now that Phyllis is there.

Some of my favourite memories of Grandma Phyllis we’re getting to spend our holidays with her and Grandpa. I always looked forward to going there, as an animal loving child I couldn’t wait for Grandma and Grandpa to show us what else Crystal and Taffy and Chico had learned and getting to feed them treats was the best part. Grandma Phyllis had a laugh that I will never forgot, it was amazingly contagious and always put a smile on my face to hear her laughing. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. 

Being shyer and quieter as a child, I have never forgotten all the ways Aunt Phyll took time and effort to draw me 'out of my shell' whenever we were together... and, as an adult, how we analytically solved the world's issues with good doses of humour. I always admired how beautifully she played the piano from memory too--she had such a graceful, rhythmic touch. These memories have lived, and will continue to live on, in my heart and mind with great fondness and love. Aunt Phyllis, you will be greatly missed but I know you've gone to a better place where I will see you (and mom & dad, and Aunt Carol...) again!
