Peacefully passed away at home on Monday January 27, 2025, at 93 years of age.
Ron was born on a farm outside of Tottenham and later moved to Tottenham where he grew up and met his future wife Beatrice.
They married in 1955 and resided in Toronto for 69 years.
Ron worked for Miller Paving as a project manager for 42 years before retiring .
In early retirement they enjoyed spending winters in Florida and then Myrtle Beach. They enjoyed taking bus trips across many U.S. states, Alaska and England.
Ron enjoyed fishing and boating at the family cottage on Belmont lake. Ron enjoyed golf in his spare time and played up until 2020 at age 89.
He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Martha Palmer: his brother Norman and his sister Glenna.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Beatrice (nee Cheeseman) and his children, Daniel (Lynden), Daryl and Heather (Corey).
He will be missed by his grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael, Victoria, Jaydyn and Mackenzie along with his great grandchildren Cadence and Flannery.
