Last January our worlds collided through the misfortune of Marie's and my Father's illnesses, but created a lasting, sincere and heartfelt bond between us; from the moment I met Marie she touched my heart.
I will always treasure Marie's last visit to my Dad in the hospital, her determination to see him after a long day at the hospital herself was a testament to the warm and caring person she was and oh how we cheered her on, hoping for her recovery, especially my Mom who had the same surgery as Marie. And most recently my final visit with Marie and Fred, observing to the end this remarkable, strong, faith-filled, loving and selfless woman who was so appreciative of and concerned for her husband Fred by her side and for her sons, Marc and Jullian of whom she was so appreciative and proud and spoke of so highly even in her final days. 
Marie holds a special place in my heart and memories of her and sharing her journey with her will be carried with me for my lifetime. 
It was my honour and privelege to know Marie and I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Fred, Marc, Julian and Marie's family and loved ones on behalf of all my family.

More than 20 years have past.  We shared the bad and the good times of all those years.  We touched each other lives; we cared for each other.  We argued but learned how to agree with our disagreement.  It used to be the four of us, but now, we have to get used to just being the three of us that survived the unique friendship that only us could create.  The time that we were informed of your illness, it absolutely destroyed us.   We witnessed the pain that you went through we thought, to the best of our knowledge, we were there for you.   We prayed to God to end the pain that you were going through and asked that His planned victory be delivered to you.  It was an answered prayer; however, we didn’t realize that the end of your pain is the beginning of the pain of sorrow of missing you.   

We should be glad and celebrate your life.  But how can we do that?  Just thinking of you being out of our reach is unbelievably painful.  We don’t want to learn how to live without you, but instead, we will keep living with your sweet memories in our hearts.  You’re an Angel and a friend!  We miss you Madame Marie and we love you.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
