Sandra became a registered nurse and later in life completed an Honours B.A. at the University of Toronto. She played many sports, including cycling and alpine skiing, but her true passion was competitive swimming. Sandra spent many years with the North York Masters Swim Club, where she was President of the Club for a period, and won many swimming medals competing at the provincial and national level. She was fluent in French and loved travelling and spending many summers in France, especially Paris and Aix-en-Provence. Sandra will be remembered as a loving mother who was devoted to her family and loved every moment she spent with them.
