Teresa Lopopolo

Teresa, beloved wife of the late Luca. Loving mother of Mike (Frances) and Angela (the late Romeo) and the late Giovanni. Devoted Nonna to Anthony, Adam (Alicia), Nadia and dog Charlie. Sister to Filomena (the late Michele), Nicola (Concetta), the late Canio, the late Rosina (the late Antonio). Adored Zia to her many nephews and nieces across Italy and France.

As a child in Palazzo, Teresa worked very hard in the family home, taking care of her younger siblings and making breads and pasta for the family meals. In her twenties, she married Luca, then moved to Toronto, Canada after a few years to start a better life. They had three children that she lovingly cared for and later in life enjoyed doting on her three grandchildren. She truly loved children and delighted in spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to bake cookies and cakes and always had something good to eat when the grandchildren visited. She also enjoyed sewing and made beautiful clothes for herself and her family.

Teresa lived at Villa Colombo the last years of her life where she was very well cared for and happy. She was a gentle and kind woman who will be greatly missed.
