Vincent Joseph Whitehead

Passed away suddenly on October 2, 2021 at the age of 70 in Aurora, Ontario. Beloved son of Eunice Comeau Whitehead and brother of Gregory (Katherine Massey), Peter, Melanie and Paul Whitehead(Victoria Jones-Whitehead). Vince was predeceased by his father Bernard Whitehead and his sister-in-law Vickie Ohashi and Annie Dokter. Loving "Uncle Binch" to Jessica, Ellie, James, David, Liesl, Sebastian, Nicholas, Michaela, Julia and Charlotte. Vincent was a steamfitter by trade in the early 70s when he turned his welding and fabricating skills to building and racing sports cars. He was a formidable competitor for 30+ years ultimately becoming the Canadian GT3 Champion in 1989 in his Datsun B210. It was a most enjoyable time of his life. A visitation for Vincent will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M2M4K4. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 222 Ridley Blvd., Toronto, ON M5M 3M6. Private family Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Rachel, Brenda, Azraa, Kristine, Linda, Norvilyn, Julianna and Rakesh at Chartwell Aurora Long Term Care Residence.
