Wai Jan Lee passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025 at Langstaff Square Community Care, with her family by her side, daughter Betty (Henry) and 2 grandsons, Justin and Evan. She was a beloved sister-in-law, aunt, and great-aunt to many.
Wai Jan has gone to rest with her husband, Ning Lee, and 4 brothers and a sister.
She will be remembered as a beloved mother and devoted grandmother to her family, who cherished the time she spent with them. She was an incredibly strong and independent woman well into her 90’s. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing mahjong and meeting family and friends for dim sum.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Mackenzie Health and more recently at Langstaff Square Community Care for their compassionate care.
A visitation for Wai Jan Lee will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M2M4K4.
A funeral service will begin on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM, followed by an interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 375 Mt Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4T 2V8.
