Betty Stanley

Funeral service for Betty Ferguson Stanley, 84, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday, January 20, 2018, in the chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Ron Moore and Tom Crawford officiating. Burial will be at Tyler Memorial Park. She passed away on January 14, 2018 in Tyler with her daughters by her side.

Mrs. Stanley was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma to the late William Abner and Lorena Jones Ferguson. She graduated from Tyler High School in 1950 and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday School for many years.

Mrs. Stanley is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Kenneth) Beall, Sue Lawson, and Donna Hightower, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leon, her brothers, Jack Ferguson and Gerald Ferguson, and a great-grandson Ryder Marshall.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Saturday, January 20, 2018, one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Lloyd James.
