Billy R. Garrett of Tyler, Tx passed away on the 16th day of September 2023 at the age of 79. He was born on May 2, 1944 in Tyler, Tx where he lived for almost all of his life. He attended Chapel Hill High School before joining the Air Force. After being honorably discharged from the military, he worked several seasonal and odd jobs before beginning a career driving a truck. His passion was his family, dogs and working in the yard. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Lurlene Garrett. He is survived by his wife Linda, Son Jason along with his wife Shi and their son Zachery, Daughter Amy, Brother Joe and Sisters Regina and Peggy.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at 10:00am on Saturday Sept. 23, 2023 at Williams Cemetery 16342 State Hwy 64 in Tyler.
