Bobby Reid

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 5th, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel in Tyler, Texas, with Bro. Danny Brown officiating. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial at Williams Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike LeFloor, Michael Whitehead, Jeff Cooper, Jonathan Gustafson, Max Lange and Phil Hardy.

Bobby was born August 17, 1954 to the late J.W. Reid and Josie Luman Reid in Woodville, Texas. He had lived in Tyler the past 33 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1973-1983. He drove a wrecker for 28 years for Hi-Way Towing and Campbell’s Towing in Tyler. He was currently a delivery driver for Advanced Analytical Lab in Tyler.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Donna Reid; son, Jared Reid of Tyler; sisters, Jo Ellen Baker and husband, Howard of Bronte and Kathy Hardy and husband, Mike of Tyler; aunt, Lillie Myrl Hanks and husband, Jimmy of Colmesneil, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Reid.
