D'Auntrae Ray "Trae" Christiansen was born on October 28, 2011, and he blessed the world with joy and love until he entered the arms of Jesus on May 22, 2021. Trae had many good years, defying his medical diagnosis and amazing everyone he met. He is now free from his physical restraints, running, jumping and seeing everything for the first time ever.
Trae was a third grader at Boshear's Center for Exceptional Programs, where he loved music and PE. Ms. Amy and Ms. Jami made sure he loved school from the beginning. Thanks also to Ms. Shanda, Ms. Diana and Ms. Brenda. His years at Boshears will always be fondly remembered. He was also a member at The Woods Baptist Church, and he loved hearing the music and clapping with it, especially the song, "If You're Happy and You Know lt." He loved toys that played music, particularly his cuddle bear and radio, and anything he could beat on to make noise. His snuggles were the best, and he did not like sharing with anyone else, because in his mind he was an "only child." Trae was a happy boy and spread cheer wherever he went. His favorite lap belonged to his Granny , who was there to welcome him into Heaven. Trae loved Racquel who was much more than his nurse of 9 years. He always had a smile and a kiss for her. Rebecca, Tamera, Marquita, and Diana also were special to Trae.
DtAuntrea is preceded in death by his grandmother, Marie Freeman. He is survived by his parents, Kim and Ginger Christiansen; siblings, Amanda Bowers and husband Andrew , Elise Christiansen, Melia Christiansen, Rachel Carver and husband Shane, Jacob Christiansen, Tyleisha Christiansen; nephews, Levi Burget, Anderson Bowers, Austin Bowers, and Samuel Carver; niece, Annalyse
Christiansen; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. All who knew Trae rejoice in his newfound freedom from the constraints of the world.
