Eula Faye Barnes

Funeral services for Eula Faye Barnes 74, of Tyler are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Sunday October 17th at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Tomley officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.

Eula Faye Barnes left this life to be with our Lord October 14, 2010. Born Eula Faye Ellis on June 4, 1936 in Chandler, Texas, she resided the majority of her life in Tyler. She was a loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law and “Mimi”. She was preceded in death by husband, John Barnes; mother, Lois Ellis and father, Hershel Ellis. She is survived by her son and daughter –in-law Amy & Todd Barnes, the loves of her life, granddaughter Kinley and grandson Brandon, all of Boerne, Texas, many cousins from the Tyler, TX and Phoenix, AZ areas and numerous friends. She graduated from Tyler High School and was self employed in various businesses in Tyler for most of her career.

Faye enjoyed cooking, traveling with friends, spending time with her grandchildren, the companionship of her Sheltie “Rocky” and of course, shopping. She was an active member of Rice Road Church of Christ and especially loved her ladies bible class. She was a true and loyal friend and was loved and will be missed by many.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 16th from 6-8pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.

Pallbearers will be Billy Ellis, Don Ellis, Douglas Ellis, Robert Gee, Harley Hooper and Charles Hamilton.
