

Floy Bell Stout, age 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28th with her family by her side. Flo was born in Tyler, Texas on July 7, 1936 to Laura and Floyd Chesney. On October 15, 1956, she married her soulmate Bradley Stout and together they were blessed with two daughters, Jana Laura and Julie Lynn. Flo worked for Wagner Cadillac for 40+ years before retiring to spend time with her two grandchildren, Shelby and Zachary.
Flo was the epitome of the perfect mother and grandmother making sure she was at every dance event, baseball game, school production, and any celebration for those that she loved. She was also an avid traveler with her daughter Jana. They would travel and sightsee all over the country along with her son-in-law Brooks.
Flo never met a stranger and fiercely loved every single person around her. She loved a good happy hour or celebratory cocktail for any and every occasion. She is truly one of a kind and will be severely missed by all.
Flo is survived by her daughters Julie Kestler and Jana Stout; Son-in-law Brooks Cottrell; Grandchildren Zachary and Shelby Kestler; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Flo is preceded in death by her mother, father, beloved husband Bradley Stout, sister Helen Reese and son-in-law Thomas Kestler.
Flo’s visitation will be held on March 10th at 10:00 am followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home and then laid to rest at Tyler Memorial Park.
