Gary was a devoted husband, dedicated father and grandfather, loyal son, honorable friend and soldier.
He left his loving wife of 40 years, Genevieve; his two daughters, Stephanie Bush and Brenda Anderson; sons-in-law, Kevin Bush and Cody Anderson; grandson, Levi Bush and many other family and friends, to join hands with his glorious creator.
Gary was born in Logan, W.Va., staying close to home until he joined the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After receiving an honorable discharge while stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nev., he moved his family to Texas where he would spend his remaining days. Gary spent many years working at Otis in Carrollton as well as working for the TDCJ in Palestine and Winnsboro.
Graveside service is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 25, 2 p.m. at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
