Jackson Ralph Kea was born February 18, 1942 in Gorman and passed away November 16, 2015 in Tyler. His parents were Wayne and Beth Kea of DeLeon. He had two brothers, Melvin and Gene Kea of Eastland. He was married to Susan Elizabeth Blalock Kea "Beth" of Tyler. Jack was father to seven children: Tina (Bryan) Jackson of Eastland, Rusty (Kim) of Tyler, Emory (Jane) of Justin, Mack (Glenda) of Hallsville, Jody (Kellie) of Tyler, Kathy (Billy) Richardson, of Tyler, and Marshal of Houston. He has 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was a retired Patrol Sargeant of Smith County Sheriff's Department.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 6-8pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Friendly Baptist Church, November 18, 2015 at 11:00am.
There will be a private graveside service.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Daniel Jackson, Tye Jackson, Jacob Kea, Collin Kea, Caden Kea, Austin Kea, Scott Johnson and Lex Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Almond Tree Adult Daycare, Hospice of Tyler, or Friendly Baptist Church all of Tyler,Texas.
