Visitation will be held at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 from 5-7pm. The Rosary will be recited at 7PM . Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at 10:00am at the Chapel of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tyler Texas with Father Justin Braun celebrant.

Interment will be at the Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery, Tyler, Texas.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Jane M Piazza. two daughters, Jennifer Piazza, and her husband, Kenneth Dean of Tyler, Lisa Eri and husband, Kevin of Hawaii. Grandchildren, Autumn Eri, and Oliver Piazza Dean

his parents, Rudy and Evelyn Piazza, 1 sister, Nancy Piazza, and his little buddy "BO".

He was employed as a manager for the Union Pacific Railroad and he married Jane Schaedig on Dec. 30, 1985 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was an avid runner and participated in many marathons, he enjoyed sports, especially auto racing.

He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and volunteered at the Food Pantry.

A burial for Joseph will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Cathedral In The Pines, 7825 South Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703.
