

Services for Joyce Gay Czerwinski, 65, of Frisco, formerly of Tyler are scheduled for 11:00am, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father George Dinguis officiating. Burial will in Cathedral in the Pines under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Czerwinski passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Frisco.
Joyce was born on August 10, 1949 in Richmond, Virginia to the late George and Jimmie Nix Guss. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and Tyler Junior College and later worked for 20 years as a merchandiser for American Greeting Card Company. She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for 40 years. Her family was of utmost importance to her especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Czerwinski and wife Terri of Frisco, Brian Czerwinski and wife Darla of Frisco and Matthew Czerwinski of Tyler; daughter, Megan Mohler and husband Michael of Wylie; brother, Michael Guss of Texas City; and 7 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Michael Czerwinski.
Pallbearers are Brian Czerwinski, Joseph Czerwinski, Matthew Czerwinski and Michael Mohler.
If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701; or St. Vincent De Paul Society of Tyler.
Visitation will be from 5-6:00pm on Tuesday with the rosary following at 6:00pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
