Graveside services to celebrate the life of Juanita Georgia Black Williams will be held at Cathedral in the Pines Garden of Memories with Dr. Mike Daniels officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
Our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to us all died on March 27, 2012. She was born on February 22, 1917 in Hart, Pontatoc County, Oklahoma to George and Ida Mae Ussary Black. She graduated valedictorian of the class of 1935 at Vanoss High School and attended East Central State Teachers College.
She married her childhood sweetheart, John B. Williams and was married for 60 years until his death in 1994.
They had 4 children, Jan and husband, Richard Lanham; R.B. and wife Ann Williams, Lynda and husband Ralph Jeter, John, Jr. and wife Rita Williams. She had 13 grandkids, 18 great grandkids and 1 great great grandchild. There were also several extended grandkids and great grandkids she always included as her extended family.
