

Lillian M. Cormier, 89, went home on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was born July 4, 1932 in Baytown, Texas. Every life touched by Lillian experienced her positive, kind spirit that never missed an opportunity to celebrate all of life’s moments. She worked for Bell Telephone Company in Dickinson, Texas three years and Intsel Steel Corporation in Houston, Texas 30 years before enjoying many years of retirement. She loved bowling, reading, crocheting, embroidering, Arts and crafts, participating in the Red Hat Society and loved life to the fullest.
Loyalty to and love of family and friends was always a priority. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings. Time together was a source of great joy and cherished memories. She was a true testimony of how to view life through rose colored glasses.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday immediately followed by services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 E. First St. in Tyler. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations to be made to Hospice of East Texas.
