Marcia Rosenberg Bostik

Visitation for Marcia Rosenberg Bostik, 75, of Tyler are scheduled for 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 2, 2012 under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at a later date in La Grange, Texas.

Marcia lost her battle with cancer on July 31, 2012 in Tyler.

She was born on January 26, 1937 in La Grange to the late Leon and Lisetta Himly Rosenberg. She was a resident of Tyler since 1970. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Texas Retired Teacher’s Association, Tyler Women’s Bowling Association and the cancer support group, “You Me and the Big C.”

She graduated from La Grange High School and attended Texas Lutheran College.

She was an administrative assistant for the Tyler Independent School District until her retirement in 2001. After her retirement from TISD she worked as an administrative assistant for Lloyd James Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Bostik of Tyler, and Stan Bostik and wife Kim of Royse City, and daughter Sheri Bostik of Nacogdoches, two grandsons Ryan and Cody Bostik of Royse City, one granddaughter Kendall Bostik of Royse City, sister Diane Rosenberg of La Grange and one nephew Kenny Norsworthy of La Grange.
