He was born in Bryan Texas to Calvin “Jack” Allen and Ina Bruner Allen, where he grew up on the family farm. Scott attended Franklin ISD. Eventually, he went on to open Allen’s A/C & Heating. He also recorded 4 country gospel albums.
Scott was a devoted Christian who cherished his Bible and the teachings of the Lord. He and Leigh attended the Covenant Assembly of East Texas and took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over him.
His favorite Bible verse was Malachi 3:16. Then those who feared the LORD spoke with one another. The LORD paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the LORD and esteemed his name. His Christian values touched every aspect of his life which he passed onto his children and molded him into the beloved person he was.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Ina, father “Jack” and siblings; Sue, Tom and Jack Allen, who he will meet again in Heaven, and is survived by his sister Dessie and her husband Ron, the love of his life Leigh, their children Daniel and his wife Tammi, Dwindy and her husband Michael, four grandchildren Christina and Gabrielle Allen, Danica and McKenna Hart, who know Scott will be waiting for them in the afterlife.
