Marjorie Lucille Cox, age 93, of Tyler, passed away in the late evening hours of Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Tyler. She was born on October 19, 1920 in Tyler. Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Clifton. Mr. and Mrs. Cox owned a variety of business throughout their lifetimes. In her free time, Marjorie enjoyed embroidering and croquetting. She also loved to cook.
Marjorie is survived by one daughter, Diane Calloway; two granddaughters, Cathy Stowers and Angela Calloway; one grandson Brian Calloway; and by one great-grandson, Kyle Stowers.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Harris Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 P.M., Friday evening at the funeral home.
