Sari "Sam" Rachel Seago

Sam was born on August 17, 1973 in Livingston, New Jersey to Marc and Laura Kinsman. Sam was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and graduated from Piper High School in Sunrise, Florida in 1991 and went on to graduate from Johnson and Wales University in 1996. She married Jason Seago in 2005. Sam was an Executive Chef at Brookshire’s Grocery Company where she worked for more than 28 years. In her spare time, Sam enjoyed traveling to new places with her husband and finding new places to eat. She also enjoyed making meals for friends and family, as well as making and sharing her beautiful crafts. Most of all, Sam enjoyed volunteering at her church.

Sam’s family and friends will always remember her as being so kind, loving and giving, never meeting a moment where she didn’t leave it a little bit brighter. She loved everybody.

Sam is survived by her husband Jason, brother Aaron Kinsman, parents Marc and Laura Kinsman, Aunt Andrea Mandel, cousin Darryl Romines, Uncle Matthew and Aunt Donna Epstein, Aunt Gail and Uncle David Salomon, sister-in-law Angela and brother-in-law Arnold Schnuelle, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and best friends.

A visitation for Sam will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX 75701. A fellowship gathering will occur Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 13590 TX-110, Tyler, TX 75707. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Cathedral In The Pines Memorial Garden, 7825 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703.
