Services for Joanne will be held at Broadway Church of Christ on Monday, August 26, 2024 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00.
Phil Hancock will be officiating, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
Left to grieve her passing are her daughter, Melanie Liles and son-in-law, Gregory Liles of Tyler; son, Timothy E. Wheeler of Tyler; grandsons, Brandon Wheeler, Samuel Wheeler and Noah Reed all of Tyler; sister, Denise Dale of Beaumont; loved nieces and nephews and Special member of the family, Linda Cates of Tyler.
Joanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, William Howard Wheeler in 2016 and their first born, William Howard Wheeler, Jr. in 1949.
Joanne was baptized in 1944 at Trion, Georgia and remained a faithful member of the Broadway Church of Christ until her death. Joanne was a gentle, kind soul and was a blessing to family and friends.
