

Services for Tommy C. Wyatt, 77, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Cross Pointe Community Church with the Pastor Don Spradling officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mr. Wyatt passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born on November 14, 1934 in Hawkins, Texas to the late Collie C. and Juanita Reese Wyatt. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Tyler Pipe Industries after 38 years of service. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Marines. He became a founding member of Cross Pointe Community Church in 2006, where he served on the advisory board and as an elder. He was a former member of First Assembly of God Church in Tyler for approximately 70 years. He graduated from Chapel Hill High School and attended Tyler Junior College. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman and exceptionally skilled craftsman. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He had a heart for missions and went with a mission group to build a church in Haiti.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
She is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Wyatt of Tyler, son John C. Wyatt, daughter Kathy A. Holley, both of Tyler, stepson Thomas S. Jackson of Palestine and stepdaughter Patricia A. Bell of San Angelo, stepmother Ina Melba Henderson Wyatt, 7 grand children, 2 great grandchildren, three brothers and one sister, and a host of extended family and friends and loyal and beloved pet Buck of 12 years.
Pallbearers are Dale Robertson, Johnny Day, Mike Hannifin, Larry Blalock, Ted Clemmons and Jan Horn. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Hignite, Fred Freeman, George Caldwell and Raymond Odom.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
