Trip Tyler Peppers, age 15, gained his angel wings on Friday, November 27, 2020 at his home in Tyler, Texas. He was met at the gates of Heaven by infant brother Daytona Danny Peppers and paternal grandfather Billy Joe Peppers. Trip spent his final days at home surrounded by those that loved him most. He touched the lives of so many people throughout his incredible and memorable life.
Trip was born on September 14, 2005, in Tyler Tx to parents Alicia and Danny. Trip spent his entire life battling Cystic Fibrosis. He was diagnosed with CF at 16 months old. On August 3, 2015 Trip received a double lung transplant, giving his family 5 extra years to make beautifully wonderful memories. He was an 8th grade student at Moore Middle School in Tyler, Tx. He loved putting together Legos, playing Fortnite, playing Pokémon, reading, and drawing. Though he was only with us for 15 years, he touched many lives and was loved tremendously by those that knew him. He is deeply missed by all.
Trip leaves behind: his mom, Alicia Cubbit and dad, Danny Peppers; younger sister, Summer; older brother, Joseph Peppers; older sister, Kayla Peppers; maternal grandparents: Elaine Caravalho, and Alvin Caravalho; paternal grandma, Ruthie Peppers; Uncle Keith Cubbit; cousins, Brianna Cubbit and Kaylee Cubbit; his second momma, Amanda Cruz; his beloved puppy, Chocolate, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
The family would like to give special thanks to the transplant team at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Tx, and the Deaf Ed Program in the Tyler ISD.
A Celebration of Trip's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Ward Officiating.
