Yvonne Robertson Dorsey

Mrs. Dorsey passed away on February 2, 2012 in Tyler.

She was born in Good Springs, Rusk County on August 8, 1927. She was the daughter of Walter and Loura Robertson of Henderson. She attended Henderson schools and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. She was a retired school teacher serving 28 years in the Henderson, Irving and Tyler School Districts. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and Joy Sunday School Class.

Mama was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Forrest Dorsey

She leaves behind her daughters and sons-in-law: Karen and Mark Boles, Larue and Marla and Joe Montgomery, Mexia: her precious grandchildren and families, Brad and Myriah Boles, Tyler; Brian and Krystal Boles, Tyler; Amy and Brant Guthrie, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Taylor and Jessica Montgomery, Mexia and Jo Beth Montgomery, Mexia. One of her greatest joys were her great grandchildren: Caleb and Allison Guthrie, Elyse Boles, Kaylee Boles and Kross Montgomery.
