Alphonsina (Alice) Chasmer died on May 12,2007. Born in Hoboken she lived most of her life in Union City. Alice worked as cook for the Union City Day Care Center for many years. She was devoted to the parish of Sts Joseph and Michael helping in may areas of parish work. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society of Sts Joseph and Michael and St Vincent Pollotti Union of Catholic Apostolate.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Andrew T Chasmer. The devoted mother of Leanora Southworth and Joseph Chasmer. The dear sister of August Bellome, Anna Janelli and Johanna Bellome. The loving grandmother of Tracy, Dawn, Howie, David and Jaimee as well as the great grandmother of Raymon and Jesinda.
The funeral will be on Wednesday 5/16/07 at 9:30am at Sts Joseph and Michael Church with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Leber Funeral Home in Union City, NJ.
