Anthony G. Habermann 85, of North Bergen passed away on Monday 11/4/13. He was born in Guttenberg and lived most of his life in North Bergen. Anthony was the owner and President of the Teterboro Flight Academy in Teterboro for many years before retiring. He was also a life member of the Quiet Birdmen Association, New York Hanger.
He was the beloved husband of Sylvia Habermann (nee. Steuer) and the devoted father of Sandy Schneider. He was the loving grandfather of Philipp Schneider and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Friday 11/8/13 at 9:30 from the Leber Funeral Home in Union City then to Our Lady of Fatima Church in North Bergen where at 10:30 a mass will be offered. The interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery. The visitation will be on Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
