Mr. Augusto Alers died on October 3, 2007. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, he lived for many years in Union City before his death. He was a Mechanical Engineer for General Electric Co. in North Bergen for over 20 years before retiring several years ago.
Mr Alers is the beloved husband of Judith Alers and the devoted father of Augusto, Jamie, Giselle and Ivette Alers. The dear brother of Felix Alers and Alicia Alvira and the loving grandfather of 7 grand and 2 great grand.
The funeral will be on Monday 10/8/07 at 10:30am at Holy Family Church. Arrangements under the direction of Leber Funeral Home in Union City, NJ.
