Mrs. Beatrice M. Gasparovic

Mrs. Beatrice M. Gasparovic Of Fishkill,N.Y. died on February 12, 2006 peacefully at Wingate at Dutchess following a courageous battle with myeloproliferative disease. Born in Union Hill, N.J. on June 11,1923 to Hattie and Edward Lupien, Beatrice grew up in Poughkeepsie,N.Y. and attended St. Mary's School and Poughkeepsie High School. She graduated from Memorial High School in West New York,NJ and from Drake Business School.

On June 26,1948 she married Francis J. Gasparovic, who predeceased her in 1984. She is survived by her daughter Elaine M. Jay of Dallas, TX and her daughter and son-in-law Joan"Schatzie" and George Gambeski and her beloved grandchildren, Catherine, Marie and Mark with whom she made her home this past year. She is also survived by siblings including Irene Maffia of Sanford, North Carolina and Margret Pergola of Arazona and predeceased by Patricia D'Errico and Edward Lupien. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Josephine Albanese of Bradenton, Fl and Tessie Gasparovic of NJ, in addition to several nieces and nephews and Thomas and Linda Frech of Edison,NJ and their children.

Beatrice was the past president of the Rosary Society of Holy Family, where she was an active member for over 50 years. She was a volunteer for more than 40 years of Holy Family's Passion Play,"America's Oberamagau" and was a Eurcharistic Minister for Holy Family Church. She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Visiting will be on Wednesday, 2/15/06 from 2-4 and7-9 at the Leber Funeral Home in Union City NJ. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Family Church on Thursday 2/16/06 at 10 AM.
