Dorothy Ann Conway (nee: DePerna) of Mahwah, formally of Union City passed away on Friday, April 29. 2010. She was the devoted wife of the late Harold Conway and the beloved mother of Sheryl Lopez- Chavez and her husband Al. She is predeceased by her two brothers, Joseph and Gerard DePerna. Dorothy is survived by many loving cousins, especially Marilyn Genovese, a cousin in name but a sister by heart.
Her family was her life and she enjoyed trips to the Jersey Shore and vacationing with her family in the winter in Hollywood, Fl. In recent years she lived in the Norfolk Village Senior Center in Mahwah NJ. She worked as an assembler for Pyramid Electronics in North Bergen and later, for 20 years in the embroidery Industry.
The funeral will be on Tuesday at 10:30am at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
