Edward Allen

Edward Allen, 66 passed away peacefully at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River NJ August 31, 2024. Ed was born in Union City and attended Emerson High School where he played football and proudly wore jersey number 27 as a wide receiver. Ed was a volunteer stagehand for Veronica Veil Passion Play for many years and worked at Hudson News. Ed loved watching the NY Jets fan and LA Rams play while he enjoyed his favorite meals from Burger King. Ed was a big fan of 70s and 80s music and enjoyed trips to the Meadowlands racetrack with his brothers. Ed is survived by his son Edward Jr., grand-daughters, Graciella and Carmella, twelve brothers and sisters, Tim Allen (Audrey), Kathleen Ancuta (Len), Chris Allen (Beth), Dan Allen (Vicki), Maureen Ramirez (Ray), Mark Allen (Fran), Sir Patrick Allen (KCHS), Jeanette Kadri (Dr. Nagi deceased 2004), Eileen Molinari (Rich), Terry Allen (Janet), Greg Allen (Kathy), Brendan Allen (Maria), and over thirty nieces and nephews.

Ed is predeceased by his daughter Vanessa Allen and his parents Daniel and Beatrice Allen.

There will be a Memorial mass of Christian Burial held at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church, Union City, New Jersey on Saturday October 5, 2024 at 11:00am.
