Missing you but thinking of so many beautiful & happy memories.  Great friendships are forever.❤️

Bob (& John) have been my close friends for almost 42 years.  During those years  I’ve gathered so many wonderful memories of times together, vacations, B’way plays, concerts, New Year’s Eves, THE Christmas Parties, 4th of July BBQs in EH, Thanksgivings & Easters at Linda’s & Tommy’s, Guild Hall, birthday celebrations, dinners at Carmine’s,  Bob’s favorite but the one uptown, & so much more.   However, it was the great conversations & all the laughter that made these times  so special & memorable.  The “just friends hangin’ out” times were just as special & fun, like the glorious early mornings  drinking coffee on the deck at EH.  Bob’s humor, his worldly intellect & knowledge, his graciousness, generosity, kindness & dignity were just some of the qualities that made him the very special person & beloved friend that he was.  Bob was treasured in life & his memory will be treasured forever by all of us who had the joy of being his friend.

My sister, who I followed around as a child, was so kind to allow me to come along with her and her friends. She was so wonderful to let me tag along and meet her friends. I met Bob, John, Bobby M, Bridget, Tommy, Allan,  etc.  People that I will never forget.  They were all so kind to me. Really, who would want a little sister tagging along but they accepted me open arms!  I remember going to the Hamptons. That was the week Gilda Radnor died. We all sat in front of the tv, crying. John made us his great marinara sauce.  Wooden spoon on top. Bob, the ultimate kind person made sure we were all taken care of. I don't think Bobby  M was there that weekend but I will love him forever. <3 <3 


The first time I met Bob, I thought that he would be a great addition to my company.  What I didn’t realize, at the time, was that he would become one of my closest confidants.  

Before others arrived for work, Bob and I would discuss politics along with whatever was happening in our respective lives.  We could talk about anything or not talk at all.  I just enjoyed being in his company.  

I gravitate towards smart, witty people who are gentle and kind.  It’s no wonder that I fell in love with Bob.  

The quality of one’s character is measured by the opinions of those who interact with that person.  My family, friends, co-workers, and clients adored Bob.  

Bob always had my back.  And, while I knew he was fond of me, it wasn’t until COVID that I appreciated how much he cared.  Two weeks after the lockdown, Bob called to say that he was planning to come back to the office.  After expressing my concern for his safety since he would be taking the PATH, Bob assured me he would be careful.  I believe that he understood how difficult (psychologically) it was to be in the office by myself, especially since New York was devoid of life.  Bob helped me survive those dark days.  I will forever be grateful for his act of compassion.

I’m not sure if I ever heard Bob say that he loved John.  But whenever he mentioned John, which was often, a blind person could see that Bob dearly loved his husband.

I am so fortunate to have known Bob.   


Rob and I feel truly grateful for having the opportunity of knowing Bob over the last seven years. In fact, our memories of New York will be forever intertwined with his wonderful presence. Bob was kind, interesting, funny and someone who always made other people feel welcome and listened to.

Rest in peace Bob.

I had the great privilege of working with Bob for many years, both of us providing a range of various financial services for a number of companies associated with The Jackson Group.  

During all this time, there was never a moment when Bob was not professional, insightful, patient and, perhaps most importantly,  just downright funny as we both navigated the various shoals for our clients.  Both of us always thinking "What a crazy business" we are in, but consistently keeping the backs of our clients.

He will be missed, but for myself, never forgotten.
