Jeanette Phillips

Born in Jersey City on January 6, 1943, to the late Helen and Cyrus Gardner. Jeanette is predeceased by her husband, John W. Phillips Sr.

Jeanette worked as a kitchen aide and custodian for the Township of Weehawken for numerous years. She also enjoyed volunteering for many organizations with the town of Weehawken and St. Lawrence R.C. Church.

Jeanette is survived by her four children, Doreen Butler (Phillips) and her spouse Gary, Lisa Johnson (Phillips), John Jr, and Kenneth and his spouse Julie. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren - Michael, Melissa, Michelle DeAngelis (Phillips) and her husband Nicholas, Willy, Lucy, Andrew and his wife Hadear (Elshafie), Lucy, Matthew, Shawn and John III and 10 great grandchildren - Nicholas, Lawrence, Isabela, Richard, Alexis, Hunter, Gabriella, Isabella, Daniela, and Shawn Jr. who she loved dearly as well as her sister Cynthia Keuntje (Gardner) and brother James Gardner and his spouse Doris.

Visitations will be held on Friday, October 14 from 3-8 PM at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ. Funeral services will be held at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken at 10 AM on Saturday October 15. Interment at Weehawken Cemetery, North Bergen.
