Joseph Catanzaro 74, of Jersey City passed away on Friday 5/25/12. He was born in Hoboken and lived most of his life in Jersey City. Joseph was a Dock Worker for the New Penn Lines in Jersey City before retiring. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #560 and#641.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Josephine (nee. Ioffredo) and the devoted father of Dominick and daughter in law Patricia Catanzaro. He was the dear brother of Angie Salvemini, Antoinette Salvemini, Sal Catanzaro and the late Vito Catanzaro as well as the loving grandfather of Deana Catanzaro.
The funeral will be on Friday 6/1/12 at 9:30am from the Leber Funeral Home then to St. Paul of the Cross Church where at 10:30am a mass will be offered. The entombment will follow at Holy Name Mausoleum. The visitation will be on Thursday 5/31/12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The family requests that no flowers be offered.
