Joseph W. Farrell

JOSEPH W. FARRELL UNION CITY Joseph W. Farrell, 89, of Union City, passed away on Tuesday 6/10/15. He was born in Jersey City and grew up in North Bergen before living in Union City for over 50 years. Joseph was a self-employed attorney in Union City for many years serving in many civic and municipal capacities. He was a graduate of Columbia University and Columbia Law School and a member of their alumni association. Joseph also served in the Army during the Korean War. He was the beloved husband of Patricia Farrell (nee. Davis) and the devoted father of William A. Farrell and wife Nancy Savitt. He was the dear brother of the late Helen Rigo and Thomas Farrell Jr. He was the dear uncle of Joseph Rigo, MaryLou Fattoross and Samuel Fattoross as well as the dear great uncle of Katherine Fattoross and many other nieces and nephews. The funeral will be on Saturday 6/13/15 at 9:30am from the Leber Funeral Home then to Sts. Joseph and Michael Church where at 10:30am a mass will be offered.
