Mr. Patrick Atkinson died on April 21, 2007 at the Veteran's Memorial Home. Born in Englewood he lived in Hoboken before moving to Paramus where he lived until his death. He was an assembler for American Can Co. in Hoboken for many years until his retirement. Mr. Atkinson was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War.
Mr. Atkinson was a former member of the Army National Guard, VFW Post 10956 and the American Legion Post 0107 both of Hoboken. He was also an usher at Sts. Peter & Paul Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is predeceased by his wife Marion (nee Mc Carthy). He is survived by his children; Bryan Atkinson, Jerilyn Atkinson and Warren Lunny. He is the brother of Emily Van Santen, Grace Ciaffa and her husband Tom Ciaffa. He is also the Uncle of Terry Tafflinger, Debra Hanvey, Thomas Hanvey and grandchildren Jason and Kelly.
The funeral will be on Wednesday 4/25/07 at 10am at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Hoboken with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. .Arrangements under the direction of Leber Funeral Home in Union City, NJ.
