Rosanna Weiss

passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Harborage nursing home

in North Bergen, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosanna was born on March 15, 1922 to Philip and Lena (Meisenberg)

Rosenberg who owned a small laundry business in West Hoboken/Union

City. Rosanna attended Hudson Elementary School and Emerson High

School. Afier graduation, she worked as a secretary at Revlon in New York

City, married and took time off to raise her family, before returning to work

at Washington School in Union City where she was the school secretary for

over twenty years. Rosanna never hesitated to donate her rare blood type to

those in need, was an avid reader, loved to crochet and had a great sense of

style.

Rosanna will be sadly missed by her children Lori (Henry) Kaden and Alan

(Marie) Weiss; her grandchildren Chelsea Kaden, Danielle (Jan) Medina and

Jason (Grace) Weiss; and her great-grandchildren Gabrielle and Alaina

Medina. Predeceased by her dear husband of 71 years, Jack Weiss and her

brother, Irwin Rosenberg.

Services will be private through Leber Funeral Home.
