Agnes Herbenar Williams

Agnes M. Williams, 93, passed away in San Antonio, Texas on September 10, 2014. She was born in Ironwood, Michigan, into a family of 8 children. After working in Chicago, she followed siblings to El Paso where she helped her sister operate a business for nearly 25 years. She married Arthur E. Williams and had one daughter. Becoming a widow at age 55, she reinvented herself and began a new career in radiology billing. She excelled and thrived at her work, continuing alert and energetic in the field until she was 84. She had style and flair, and was well known for her conversational skills and extensive vocabulary. Agnes walked miles through Cielo Vista each day for exercise and took great pride in a lovely and immaculate home. She was a living example of a woman’s spunk and independence. Agnes will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by daughter Cindy Kuenzi, son-in-law Robert Kuenzi, and three granddaughters, Molly, Linda, and Sara Kuenzi. Special thanks to Randall McGregor for his friendship and care in her last years.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10:00 am at Mt. Carmel Cemetery El Paso, Tx. Please refer to www.colonialuniversal.com for further information and to leave remembrances. Please make contributions to a local hospice provider.
