Alice Marie Dull

Alice was born on July 18, 1946 by her parents John and Nora Lapinski in Jackson, Michigan.

Alice was the youngest of 6 children. She is preceded in death to brothers Jack, Bob and sister Judy. And survived by her brother Jim and sister Mary Sue.

After completing High School she married David Dull and continued her life as a homemaker, the wife of an enlisted member in the United States Air Force.

Our mother and father traveled the United States living in multiple military bases and finally landed in their beloved state of Texas in San Antonio. Where they continued to raise their 4 children.

She loved her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Selma, Tx. As a devout Catholic she attended mass regularly and fortunately, was able to do so with her brother Bob and his wife, Tanya. Alice greatly valued every acquaintance and friendship she made while attending her church.

Alice dedicated time in her life to service of others inspired by her love for our lord, Jesus Christ. She was a Eucharistic Minister, administering the sacrament to injured soldiers at Brooke Medical center. She delivered food to the elderly and sick for Meals on Wheels. As an ardent animal lover, she also dedicated time and resources to the Universal City animal shelter.

Our beloved mother’s greatest gift was sharing her love and kindness to everyone she met. She carried a torch of light, love and humility to honor the teachings of her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The world was a better place with her in it and she will surely be missed by everyone that knew her.

Alice was survived by her 4 children, Jim, Mick, Jason and Susie. Her grandchildren, Tiler, Kamyn, Chase, Kayla and Michelle. And her grandchildren, who knew her as “Gramma G”, Peyton, Wesley, Lennon, Cohen and Paxton.

Visitation is scheduled from 3:00p.m.-5:00p.m. with Holy Rosary recited at 4:30p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78233.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:15p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 N Evans Rd., Selma, TX 78154.
