Antonio was a painter by trade for many years until he self-retired. He loved having family gatherings, listening to music and drinking Miller Lite. He enjoyed gardening and caring for many animals such as, chickens, rabbits, birds, and ducks. What he enjoyed above all, was spending time with his five daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially when they’d watch wrestling.
Antonio is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Amalia Morales, his wife, JoAnn, granddaughter, Jordyn Marice Gaxiola, and grandson John Guerra III. His memory will be cherished by his five daughters, Maria Hernandez, Brenda Gaxiola, Batina Marquez, Joann Anderson, and Julie Guerra; brother, Gabriel Morales; sisters, Rosa Morales, Margie Warren, Celia De La Cruz, Amelia Mata, and Diana Morales Aranda. Also to carry on his legacy are his 25 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
The family of Antonio Morales would like to give special thanks to Methodist Hospice, especially to Mrs. Cheryl P. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for her unwavering love and compassion she demonstrated towards our family during this time.
He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones, especially his daughters. We will always remember sitting and listening to his stories, watching wrestling for hours, and the wonderful time he had with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Antonio Morales will occur on Tuesday, February 25th starting at 5:00 PM, with a 6:00 PM reception to follow.
