Barbara Grace Plant

She was born on May 15, 1935, in Dexter, Maine, the youngest of five children born to Clarence and Marion (Macomber) Lord.

Barbara met Roger Plant while he was stationed at Charleston AFB, Maine. They married on March 17, 1953, and celebrated over 56 years of marriage until Roger’s death on August 17, 2009.

Barbara enjoyed playing the penny slot machines, as she was never much of a risk taker, also going to craft shows, reading mystery books and most of all, playing either card or board games with the family, especially if she won!

Barbara is survived by daughter, Melody Wyman of San Antonio, TX and Cindy Edl of Universal City, TX. Son, Douglas Plant of San Antonio, TX. Grandsons, Erik Wyman of Dallas, TX, Joseph Wyman and his wife Jennifer of Gentry, AR, Ross Wyman and his wife Alisha of Odessa, TX, Michael Edl and his wife Jana of Purdy, MO, and Daniel Edl of St. Cloud, MN. One granddaughter, Kristy Kaulfus and her husband Jeremy of Cypress, TX. Barbara leaves a host of 17 great-grandchildren and numerous friends behind.

We will miss her smile, laughter and hugs.
