Barbara Lee Lunsford Vanover

Barbara Lee Vanover went home to our Lord on 7/10/14 at the age of 77. She is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Russell Vanover Jr., her brother Willard Lunsford, and her children Randall Mark Vanover, Katrina Rae Vanover, and Gregory Allen Vanover, her daughters-in-law, Marilyn Jean Vanover and Allison Michelle Vanover, friend Dennis Peck, and her grandchildren, Melissa Anne Vanover, Bradley Ross Vanover, and Noah Gregory Vanover. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Lunsford, Annie Florence Lunsford, and her siblings, Andrew Lunsford, Eldridge Lunsford, Mae Syc, Reba Clark, and Margaret Bordeaux. Barbara has been a resident of Live Oak, TX for the last 29 years where she and Russell operated Van’s Family Haircare for many years prior to retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Universal City, and was much loved by her church family, and her many loyal customers. Her memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the LDS church, 13201 Forum Rd., U.C., TX 78148. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the University of Texas Health Science Center Cancer Therapy and Research Center.
