Beryl Thorton Whitfield passed away peacefully July 19, 2017 at the age of 60. Beryl was born May 2, 1957 in Enid, Oklahoma to Nathan and Mary Whitfield. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 1, 1976 and was honorably discharged on April 2, 1979 as a SPC4. He entered the Air Force on January 24, 1980 and was honorably discharged on July 9, 1987 as a Senior Airman. His Father Nathan, Jr. precedes Beryl in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: his Mother, Mary Burks (Charles), three Brothers – Eric Whitfield, Nathan Whitfield, III (Trudy), and Allen Whitfield (Denise); three Sisters – Cathy Calhoun, Debra Whitfield, and Audrey Whitfield; Nephews – Derrick Whitfield and David Whitfield; Nieces – Monique Whitfield, Tunisia Calhoun, Katherine Whitfield, Brittany Young (Jonathon), and Olivia Young. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home.
