For the past couple of months, I have felt pulled by thoughts of Bessie. I finally googled her name and was so saddened to find her obituary. Bess was my boss in Personnel at Brooks, AFB starting
in 1978. She mentored me in the personnel business and in personal business. My husband had recently abandoned me and my daughter. She was intelligent, kind, caring, and most importantly, she was correct in all her help. I was promoted from a GS-3 to a GS-11 in 7 yrs following her fabulous advice and friendship. I am also remarried for 32 years now. My condolences!

"Grandma T" was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother to our family. We loved her and wish we could have spent more time with her. She will be missed!
